'Sangeet' function is an opportunity for the bride’s and groom’s families to be further acquainted over an evening of dance, music and fun. It is more prevalent in Indian weddings and originates mainly as a Hindu tradition.
Aakash and Stuti are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends. Their Sangeet function was held at The Sapphire Function Centre at Blacktown. Evening started with family members and close friends arriving early in the evening and assist in the arrangements for the evening.
A nice traditional style "baithak" seating was arranged for the women of the families to sing traditional wedding folk songs. The main festivities started after the arrival of the to-be bride and groom.
Both families put a tremendous show with various dancing and singing performance. Even Aakash and Stuti put up a great show - duet dance on a popular Bollywood song.
To top up the evening, the food was very fresh and delicious. Event staff were very courteous and very efficient in serving and clearing at the tables.
The function went until late in the evening and was completed with shooting lots of family mix-and-match photos.
