Wedding was a traditional Hindu ceremony which was conducted at the Iskcon Temple in North Sydney. After the initial welcoming ceremonies for the to-be bride and groom, all the guests got seated within the temple corridor to observe the proceedings of the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we took the newly weds to the St. Leonard's Park across from the temple. Here we took some posed and some candid fun shots of the couple before heading back for the temple aarti.
After the aarti, all the guests got seated on their respective table set within a marquee set within the temple's compound. The couple made their first walk as married couple and all family and friends welcomed them with cheerful applaud.
After a superbly conducted traditional classical South-Indian dance, pure vegetarian lunch was served. The food was prepared by temple's own chefs and you could taste the purity of ingredients and blessings of the Gods with each morsel.
In all, a great ceremony, lovely photos and a very happy newly wed couple.
